Before you place an offer, give us a call to have a chat with you over the phone. We can discuss your standard REIQ Contracts and give you a better understanding of what to look out for when placing an offer.

6I placed an offer. What's next?

Make sure you have notified the real estate agent that SMS Law are acting for you in your conveyancing. The real estate agent will then provide a copy of the Contract to us.

Once we receive the Contract, we will review it and get in touch to discuss the contract details and confirm your contact details. 7Do I need to be at settlement on the day?

Settlement is the end of the conveyancing process, where the transfer of the property and payment of the settlement funds is completed.

You do not need to attend Settlement. We will contact you to advise that it has all gone through and what the next step is to collect the keys if you are purchasing.
